Our owner Tim, is a General Contractor, which means we have the right specialty contractors for your project & we oversee your home remodeling from start to finish!
MEET THE OWNERS
Owners, Tim and Lisa Mawdsley, started Mawdsley Home Improvement over 18 years ago in Grimes, IA. Tim has an Associates' degree in Construction Management from Southwest Missouri State. He worked with a large commercial construction company for a time and supervised crews of 60-80 workers. He soon realized his real passion was in residential remodeling. He enjoyed the hands on work, and being his own boss. After working for a residential company for a couple years, he was ready to start his own company. Tim is still one of our main estimators and oversees bigger projects, but is also daily working on homes. Tim enjoys meeting customers and learning about their lives. That's one thing that makes a company like ours so special. He is often talking about customers and their families and pets.
Lisa works mostly in the office, doing scheduling and accounting for the company. Her background is in Office Management and Customer Service.
A large percentage of our business is from repeat customers and we're really proud of that!
